The filter should be replaced every 3-4 weeks, or when you can see that the filter is saturated with foreign matter (debris, food, hair, etc)
More common changes may be required due to indoor environmental and water conditions, as well as multiple pet use
Check the fountain every few days to judge whether the water needs replacing
To clean the entire filter, simply wash each part by hand with a natural, chemical-free soap
Before use, rinse filter and submerge for 10mins
